Phil Robson Memorial 2023
We remembered a very special man at Wrag Barn this summer.
Phil Robson was a huge part of the Wrag Barn community and we were honoured to welcome his family to celebrate his life and share anecdotal stories and memories of which there are many.
To mark the occasion the Senior section played for the Phil Robson Trophy which was won by Des Williams: he said that he hadn’t played golf at such a level for some time and felt that Phil was with him showing the way.
There was a nearest the pin competition on the third which was won by Roger Carter.
Thank you Oliver the photographs which show Phil’s wife Ann presenting the prizes and all the family sitting on Phil’s memorial bench donated by the family in his memory.
